Positive Review
First of all, I'm a big fan of the Subaru brand and I think that my '09 Impreza is a great car for the money. The one thing that left me a little underwhelmed by this vehicle is the quality of the interior. The carpeting seems loose and I can feel the head-rest post in my back in the seats. I've owned Legacys & Outbacks in the past and never noticed any real flaws in the quality. Other than those issue this little car is a champ, no real engine or drivetrain issue, sporty, good in the snow and good room for a small car. Definitely a good value.
Critical Review
I own a 2008 subaru impreza, I bought it brand new. I choose a subaru because I had read that they were reliable, affordable and good quality. I can say that after having to take my car every 2 months to get the brake pads changed, having rust ALL OVER my car, my car not turning on most days in the winter, getting treated horribly by the dealerships and writting a letter to the Subaru company about this with no answer, Subaru is neither realiable, affordable or good quality. I ended up taking my car to a shop who figured out that my cars pads didn't need to keep on being changed by there was a nut that was stuck, after changing it my car no longer needs the brake pads changed every 300 miles, the rust has no fix, even though I had warranty for this the dealership said that it's impossible for my car to get rust since it's aluminum, even after I showed them all the rust on the door, hood, trunk, roof, even on the small parts of metals inside the doors. I feel insulted that I paid so much for this car for it to be falling apart with only 2 years of use. VERY DISSAPOINTED IN SUBARU, specially after the company ignored my letter.

muffler is loud, paint, air conditioning, not very comfortable, feels cheap
I've had this '09 Subaru Impreza for about 13 yrs now. Although not the money pit my Ford products were, the paint is terrible, and my sunroof glass actually fell out while driving.

Reliable, cute, drives great, sound proof,
I have had this car for 2 years and bought it with less than 100,000 miles and now has 130,000. The only problems I've had is replaced break pads and replaced the main belt. Other than that, I have had no problems at all! It drives excellent! I love this car! 😀
My wife's car who treats it like a baby

Good!! Amazing
Bad engine
Best car ever but only if the engine could hold better! It should be considered 5/5 since it’s the best awd car ever!
Easy to drive. Solid and reliable car.
The car is relatively low to the ground.
I bought this car new back in 2009 and haven't been disappointed. I was attracted by the AWD and the hatchback since I like to go camping and backpacking. So far the car has been super solid and reliable. I aside from replacing the airbags after they were recalled I've been lucky in that no major repairs have been needed.
I want it its an amazing car I am going to be purchasing they are fun to drive i only have 1 day till I get it
