Positive Review
My only complaint about this car is the comfort of the seats on long trips. On the open road, at 90mph, this car still has an amazing passing gear for a 340 HP car. I average close to 29 MPG at 80 mph on 500+ trips. It uses no oil. The car is much more fun to drive than a Benz E Class or the Audi A6. The warranty and maintenance package kicks everyone else to the curb. I am a hard core car enthusiast and have owned Maserati, Benz, BMW and Acura in addition to Jags. The Maserati QP-S is way better than any car I have ever owned, Jag would come in 2nd (have owned 5), Benz 3rd (E550), and BMW 4th. My next car will be an 5.0 Jag or we will have to look at an Audi with the 4.0 V8. Porsche are nice too but they do not depreciate like Jags, Benz, BMW and Audi and buying any of these cars new is a waste of money

This car is everything someone could want. You have the speed, you have the style, you have car play, the drive is luxury, and it is reliable with the CPO warranty 4 years or 60K miles. I got mine CPO with only 12k miles I now have about 29k and it has been to the shop for some minor repairs need a new purge valve for the gas line covered under warranty. Other then that just brakes, tires, & oil change. The brakes started to squeal after 14k miles after I replaces the pads and rotors no noise at all. I did get a $70k Range Rover Velar as a loaner every time I went for service. I recommend this car with CPO warranty.
Great Value, looks much more expensive than it is
trunk opening should be wider/bigger
I drive a lot for work. I do both city but mostly highway miles. The only issue i have with my 2022 XF was the initial tires having lost 2 in the first 3 months. I switch brands and while a major pothole took out a new tire i really glad i switched. Car drives great, nice feel, sounds and comfort. i have had many luxury cars before and i am very happy with the Jag. I also considered a E450 and 540 both were hard to find. i was luck as the Jag (2) came in the day i looked for it and I went to the dealer 2hrs away same day and 1 was already sold. Would i get again Yes, without a hesitation. MPG is just ok at about 25-26 (heavy foot) on premium gas. if i had to find a negative the trunk opening is not as wide or high as my previous cars so that has been a pain a few times but there is plenty of room inside the trunk.
Handling, speed, comfort
Cop magnet
Better than German rivals. More kick and comfort. Doesn’t bottom out on speedy inclines and handles better than BMWs
Great performance great handling great warranty
Entertainment system no gps or apple play upgrade
This car has 60k warranty what’s not to like. It’s very smooth handling and very powerful. Make sure you use premium gas for engine life. The entertainment system is a little clunky. Not all vin get the free apple play upgrade so that’s the only complaint with this vehicle. The technology is lacking.
fit and finish, suspension, five year maintenance
spare tire takes up room in trunk
Initial thoughts: For those looking for an alternative to German cars that will turn heads - look at this Jag. There are deals to be had for 2020 models. You will get unsolicited compliments on this car. I have the XF S trim and everything is gorgeous in and around the car. The S has a Supercharged V-6 engine (no turbo lag) and barrels down the road with authority. Buttery drive that still makes you feel the road. Try to get the XF S now as there is no S option for 2021 - only 4 cylinders offered going forward for XF. The trunk is very deep and back seat has plenty of room. I agree that the infotainment system is not as strong as my former BMW car but it is not as bad as some say. The touchscreen works well. The Meridian surround sound is primo. A+ sports sedan.
Styling, Ride and Handling, comfort, acceleration
really none
Has been my favorite car in my life. I have had almost every type of car in my 52 years. This one is fantastic. Lively engine and handling....really lively. Good tech....maybe could be better here but still good. Comfort is outstanding along with ride. Sound system good. Nav is decent. Climate control is Excellent. Styling is Steller! Service was always really good too.
GREAT DRIVING WAGON
BLIND SPOT AREAS OUT BACK
PERFORMACE LUXURY AND MORE BANG FOR BUNK COMPARED TO OTHER WAGONS
Smooth ride, great handling & comfortable
Infotainment/navigation system.
Fairly fast, pretty good handling, and a great ride from a very practical car. A great highway cruiser. Typical Jaguar seats are equal to those in Lexus' IS-350 which I find superior to those from Audi, BMW, Cadillac, and Toyota. A big trunk. Jaguar's rain/snow algorithm for traction control is by far the best of what is offered by Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Lexus, and Toyota. Jaguar's In Control Touch 8.0 inch infotainment/navigation system is slow and has a very limited storage for favorite destinations. The heads-up display is panned by most professional reviews; however, I find Jaguar's to be superior to BMW's and Cadillac's HUDs with their white symbols mainly because Jaguar uses amber & green which I find less distracting by day and night.
