this car is both gorgeous and very fast..handles great.....no mechanical problems with 22 thousand miles....would like to see better gas mileage....only getting around 16 mpg city..and maybe 21 highway......needed brakes after 15000, to the tune of 800.00....questioned dealer as to why brakes after only 15k....explained i purchase a new car every 3 years and have never needed breaks for at least 35-40,000 miles....those cars included a bmw and two infinitys....dealer stated they have been seeing that a lot with the jaguar.....so i put in a complaint to jaguar usa....of course they said they looked into and nothing they could do...its normal ....which is nonsense since i do not drive fast, ride the break or break sharply........to me the brakes are a defect in this vehicle .....otherewise i love everything else about the car....

The strong point of this car is the ride and acceleration. Comfort in the back seat is very good. The downside is that electronics and human interfaces are horrible at almost every point. The Nav is stupid-unusable. The audio system is impossible unless you stay on one station all the time. Visibility is bad and the back up camera is so low resolution it is frustrating and embarrassing. The interface with the iPhone is very bad - sometimes I cannot use the radio because the car thinks I am on the phone. The gas gauge is not not accurate, trip computer is rudimentary. The video screen is small and the computer crashes periodically. The trunk is very big, but the opening is very small. Garage door remote is so weak I need to be 20' away.

These cars are underrated especially the fact that you cannot buy a Supercharged V8 for under $40,000 today these are a Supercar bargain they should not have depreciated so fast they are amazing very well built high quality Interiors are better than BMW and Mercedes and super fast with that supercharger you could put a tune on it and an upper pulley and get close to 600 horsepower for under $20,000 that's insane these cars should be priced higher just like the Cadillac V of 2010 are still worth 30 to $40,000 and jaguars a better car with better quality interior

We purchased 2009 Jaguar XF Luxury Sedan in 2015 with 32K miles on it. We are right at 70K miles now. I was pleasantly surprised by the ride, the look, the features...pulsating start button, the acceleration, the sleek look of this car. The color we purchased emerald metallic green and it is gorgeous! No problems to speak of and it was well worth money. You can't go wrong with this. I get looks and compliments on the car all of the time. Some people can't believe the age of the vehicle as it stands the test of time with its timeless look. Sleek clean lines, very soft exterior looking exterior. Like a staple piece in your closet that stands the test of time, this vehicle does the same. I definitely recommend.
I love my car. Fast, reliable and beautiful car. I would not trade it for the world. I keep it clean and will drive it anywhere.

The first time I drove this car I absolutely fell in love with it not only is it full of luxury features everything you touch is either alcantara or Italian leather or beautiful glossed wood. The power is unbelievable from this 5.0 supercharged V8 I added a tune from velocity to add another 90 horsepower which brings it up to almost 600 horsepower where can you find all this power in a beautiful package with a price of under $20,000 it doesn't exist but it does if you buy this car the reliability is perfect the car is built very well I have had no issues but fun driving this everyday.

Faint chain rattle
I bought my xf new in 2011. I have had no issues but I began to hear noise from my water pump at 95000 miles so I had it replaced prior to its failure. The car still rides and drives remarkably well. My average mpg is 23, city 16, hwy 26.
