Positive Review
I, bought this car new, and it's fun driving around. Good fuel economy mileage. Definitely a nice car to have. I'm happy with everything about this car. The value will be strong standing for many years.
Critical Review
Overall the car is a very good car. i will not take anything away from it. But from a cost point the extras you get for the price tag is not worth it . Your better off going wit the EX model and saving a good amount of money.... You wont be missing out on anything that would go unnoticed

I bought this car about 2 weeks ago and am very satisfied with the value and cost. It has so many safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, and more. It even reads the speed limits on the road and displays them on the dash. Adjusts the brights in the dark automatically and turns off when it sees a car coming . I’m averaging 35-38 mpg depending how much city I drive in. Only take $25 to fill up. I love this car!
Gas
Uncomfortable
Good gas mileage but was over priced for what it was. Very cheap good entry level car. Would beep annoyingly when locking the doors from the handle.
Great mpgs, stylish, reliable, roomy
Some engine noise, no lumbar support, no vents or usb in rear
I bought the 2022 Honda Civic EX-L Hatchback new in fall of 2022 and have loved it. It is a great daily commuter, great gas mileage (40 mpg combined!) no engine or mechanical problems except one recall, nice interior comfort, useful features (safety suite, roominess, good ride quality, Apple Carplay), stylish for an economy car, relatively reasonably priced.
Great all around
Radio isn’t that loud
I bought this car over a year ago, and haven’t had any major problems whatsoever . The car has been reliable , quick acceleration, great breaking, perfect for a first car!!!
Looks great, rides smoothly, great gas mileage, reliable as long as you do maintenance routinely
Slow, doesn’t have seated seats or steering wheel, paint is thin
I bought this car in 2023 new and love the styling of the car. The gas mileage is great, most I’ve gotten is 42 mpg. I haven’t had any issues (current mileage is 23k). There was a recall on the car for the steering rack causing your steering wheel to feel sticky when driving at high speeds but Honda took care of it and it feels even better to drive. Wished the 2022-2024 models came with what the new 2025 Civic Si models came with (heated seats and steering wheel) but overall I love this car as my daily.
7.5 km/100km manual 570-625km 8.4 km/100km winter driving 515-570km from my experiences with the car.
We have a EXL hatchback. Traded in a 2021 Accord EXL gas, sedan with under 16K. We are old, just wanted something small, good MPG. We got about, all round driving 42+ with the Accord. Honest. The name Honda now means more money for less equipment. We bought the EXL to keep the 1.5L Turbo (our gas Accord had 192HP). But even with a sticker price of $30,200 (included $455 for paint). We we out came with a lot less then our 2021 EXL Accord. [our mistake]. Gone now, except in the Touring class, most expensive level in 2024, most important to us; rear cross track system (CTM), parking monitoring, a full color, full information screen, even at 7 inches. Honda even took out a simple compass on the screen. Also gone at all levels, a back lumbar adjustment. Also missing on our EXL hatchback , believe it or not, a power lift gate. Gone a power seat for front passenger seat. Storage compartment up by control for sunroof, charge pad for phone, Sirus radio, no Bose speakers. Gone at any level climate control for rear seats, additional UBS ports front and back. Best nickle dime issue a storage pocket behind the drivers seat. And in my opinion, the leather trim seats are not the quality I have come to expect from Honda. We have owned EXL's, in sedans and civics, including hybrids since 2002. BUT, compared to the other competitors in this class, as it stands now, the Civic still is best in class. Too, bad, we buyers continue to put up with this, voting with our dollars to accept "less for more $$$$".
Safe, reliable, comfortable, value, style, gas mileage
It doesn’t get better than the civic, the corolla can’t compete. The design is flawless and there are no issues
