Positive Review
My basis for comparison: In 2006 I bought a '06 Porsche Boxster. Great car, fun to drive, expensive to service. In 2012 I bought a new Audi S4. Again great car, too civilized for my taste, didn't care for the "automated manual" transmission, heavy in the corners. In 2016 I bought this GT Premium. It is powerful, a blast to drive - especially since I only have the performance options -, and it's inexpensive to keep. I won't bad mouth the other cars but I will say I like the mustang better than the Audi S4 just based on performance and handling alone.
Critical Review
The exterior body panels fit and clearances differ around the car. The driveshaft design appears to be faulty and very difficult to repair. Query this problem on the internet for more info. Test drive the car carefully at high speeds and notice any vibrations. If you feel anything abnormal run away, its not the tires.

So I bought from Carvana they gave the most for my trade 2018 MB 300 Coupe 4matic bought in 9/23 prob paid $1000-1500 then value paid 29500 but the clock at 8500 miles car was in a++ condition, not a defect anywhere it was a Base Eco Boost with the High pkg larger screen, power seat, car play, etc it's feb2025 I only have 14K so resale is a strong only complaint is when you push it hard (real hard) in the corners the factory tires can't hold back end gets loose so easy summer tire upgrade I'm sure would help but $1000 for 4 not in the budget car is solid heavy doors strong chassis my ex 300 had 28k on factory Michelin s would easily out handle and hang with speed 2.0L turbo much more torque offline at 1400 rpm with the Benz, Mustang Trans garbage shifts too quick and wrong times but at 29k its a steal now the benz in 2018 i paid 32k so also close in price Mercedes has way below resale car was 56K new
Very good in gas and very fast to be a four cylinder vehicle.
I am not a fan of the radio thing, it hangs my calls seldom and comes on as well on its own randomly. Weird!
The first time I saw this vehicle, I simply felt in love with it, because just from the looks of it, i simply couldn't get enough of those curves and and the shape of the design, like a fierce beast driving on the road. Then you have the leather seats, the nice dashboard, the powerful four cylinder engine, the incredible savings on gas you get from it, the sound system and the high performance package, etc., making this vehicle all that I need for my daily commute to go to work and back. My 2020 mustang ecoboost has been the best investment I have made on myself. One review I saw on Youtube says the sound of the muffler comes from the speakers of the car, well, that is not true. I use Pirelli P-Zero Corsa and I am never concerned about them slipping on the road around curves or on wet surfaces, unless I obviously drive like a maniac I assume or it is winter driving conditions, when these tires get more rigid due to being designed soft for gripping the road, I mean, they are not winter tires, but you can adjust the vehicle to winter driving in this case, not a problem. I also love the quick response from the engine in situations where sudden speed is needed to avoid a situation. That for me was the key reason why I saw this car is so convenient, because there are many idiots on the road and it is good to stay away from them. The insurance company is not gonna kill your pocket with it nor the police because, it is a 2.3L engine, right? I have a lot to say about this car so, I totally recommend this vehicle.
Performance Exhaust, 10 Speed Automatic
Lacks Hood Struts
Purchased December 2022. I believe this model adds more interior character than the gen7 version. The car always gets positive comments from lookers. It’s just a nice car with all the features of a luxury car. The V8 has a great sound. Highly recommend this vehicle.
Style, Feel, Sound
Backseat
I bought this baby 2 weeks ago. Always wanted a Mustang and thrilled to have this beauty. The EcoBoost premium has a 10 speed automatic transmission with 5 driving modes and though I realize completely that it is not an 8 cylinder GT that it does have plenty of power (over 300 horses) and sounds very throaty for a four cylinder. The premium trim level comes with a ton of upgrades including heated and ventilated power seats for both up front occupants. The big screen is easy to use and though the ride is stiff the seats are comfortable. I’m lovin’ every second I’m in this thing.
Fun
Transmission
10 speed auto is very trashy, but for the price it is a fun car.
Roars like a tiger with all the extras. Pleasure to many eyes. Would not sell it gor a penny less than $40,000. 30,000 miles in mint condition
Fast, reliable, stylish, comfortable, fun, affordable
I have had many mustangs. My 2016 Mustang saved my life in a t-bone accident involving an F-150. My 2019 is just as safe and looks even better. I will always have one.
Owning three older generation (70, 71, and 72) Mustangs, I wanted a newer model equipped with the tech options and the fantastic Coyote engine. These cars are fabulous. For the dollar, you will not own a sport performer that is nicer riding, handling, and easier maintained. The styling speaks for itself and the 5.0 performance is nothing short of stunning for that size of V8. My 2016 would handily defeat my first 429 Cobra Jet in any race.
