Positive Review

"Great, no problems."

I purchased this car certified used with 64K miles on it. GT Deluxe V8 automatic loaded. It now has 84 K on it and the only problem ever to crop up was a bad tire pressure sensor. There is absolutely no problems with drive train or any mechanical/electrical systems on this car. I have the entire maintenance history of this vehicle and the only repairs was an alternator replacement. I have since had the rear wheel brakes serviced with pads and turning rotors. Beautiful car, very reliable, getting 20-21 MPG on mixed city highway driving. I don't baby it either. Rather a lead foot myself.

Critical Review

"horrible car, not worth the money"

Purchased my 2008 V6 mustang used, immediately upon purchase the thermostat cap broke, then the catalytic converter went out (if you don't have a warranty this gets very expensive and no, ford doesn't care) several months later TWO alternators died and I had to have the car towed several times due to this, the wiring harness broke costing me another $300 and a towing fee, the car also died on me numerous times while driving (regardless whether I was stopped at a light or doing 65 mph on a highway) which in any circumstances is a terrifying ordeal because you have no power brakes, steering and practically any control over the car. Also the car would start itself, without the key in the ignition, throughout the day which became highly annoying. The security system would also go off randomly for no reason which would drain the battery quickly and coming out to a car that doesn't start after a long day of work is not enjoyable. The factory installed shaker 1000 radio would turn itself on and off while driving and in park it wouldn't even turn on due to "low Battery" even after having a brand new battery installed. In all this is a horrible purchase and I would never recommend anyone buying or even considering a mustang. The parts are over priced, continuous mechanical and electrical problems, and the inconvenience of it all.

Great car
Pros

Beautiful car and rides smooth.

Cons

Staring wheel trim can sometimes cause a reflection and be somewhat blinding

I have a v6 premium and I haven’t had any engine problems out of it nor body or electrical the only thing that has happened was the amp on the stereo went out and it was an easy fix my only complaint would be they tend to have a more rough idle than some other cars

Pros

Great looking, reliable, fun to drive.

Cons

Hard to find one that hasn't been modified.

2007 GT. I've owned mine since new. Daily driver until 2022. Still used a couple of days a week, plus track days and drag racing. Hasn't lived an easy life and yet the only major parts replaced are the radiator fan and alternator. Bulletproof engine if taken care of. Sparkplugs used to be an issue but not anymore with one piece Sparkplugs available. A little low on performance by today's standards but can still get you in trouble pretty quick.

Very nice Mustang GT

Has Flowmaster exhaust tips, Cervini hood, 5 speed manual transmission, only 29116 miles, I bought it with 19K miles.

Reliable fun for a reasonable price
Pros

Performance, fun, reliability

Cons

Small back seat

The 2013 Mustang GT (Brembo Pkg) has the power an performance to make it an enjoyable, everyday, vehicle, especially with the 6-speed manual transmission and 3.73 rear-end. It 's greatest asset is the Coyote V8. It is a gem of an engine. It is not a family car, as it's rear seat only works for small children, or as storage, but it does have a good size trunk that easily fits a golf club or a couple of carry-on suit cases. Rear seats also fold to increase that space significantly. All-in-all it has been a great, fun, and reliable car that I've kept for over 10 years now.
