Positive Review
If you can find one in good condition that hasn't been abused by children drivers I definitly recommend buying one. Fox Body mustangs are really sought after due to their light weight, performance potential, and dependability. I own a 1987 GT and the only problems from mine so far are maintainence issues, ex: battery, alternator, tune-up etc. Definitly a head-turner when in great condition. Performance is pretty decent boasting 14 sec 1/4 miles stock with a 150mph ceiling. These cars have great potential and are very easy to work on.
Critical Review
Estimated my 91 Mustang GT, mint, 60k miles, at 2-5k. Way off in appraisal, can't find this car for sale for anything less than 10k. Nice try though KBB

I trade with ford
My father bought me a 1989 fox body mustang convertible for my first car after graduating high school, funnest most reliable car I’ve ever owned!
Can't buy it
Can't but it
I tried several times to contact the seller and it failed! I sent messages with no reply. I Tried to set up a test drive, but no reply. I made a couple offers, but no reply. I tried to become a verified member to help the proccess, but the verification proccess kept rejecting my ID. I tried several times and kept failing. I'm extreamly frustrated because I can't contact the seller to buy the car I want. Good luck Autotrader. I won't be back!
Original, low mile, sunroof

Didn’t like the small Space 4 rear passengers
Gas mileage was best ever 4 sports car
This has been the best car ever for me. Drove it for 25 years and only broke down once for a timing belt, still has original everything in it and would still drive it if someone hadn’t plowed into the side destroying passenger door and will not accelerate now either. I could take this car on road or off road without a problem. Best gas mileage I ever had in any car as well; used to get 37mpg until the accident.
just plain summer fun
rides like an old dump truck
Mine is the "Summer Edition" convertible, one of 1503 made in the Chromatic Yellow/Black version and definitely an attention getter. Performance is great but comfort is seriously lacking. I'm a big guy and, to me, this car is loud (you can hardly hear the radio even with a 200 watt amp) is cramped (again, my size), and rides like an old dump truck but.... every time I "romp down on the throttle" I know why I bought it. I've put headers and a 4:10 gear in it and this car never fails to deliver all kinds of "grins and giggles". Handling is good but I can't rate it for wet pavement or snow as it's never been driven in the rain. Forget snow! This car comes out to "play" only on sunny days with no chance of rain. This car is a tire smokin', asphalt burnin',butt kickin' street machine that lives up to the Mustang performance image right from the dealer's showroom. Add a couple of mods and you have the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing and my 5.0 is the car I wanted ever since I saw the very first Mustang convertible in 1964.
great price, incredibly fun to drive
no cup holders, needs some restoration always
I had a 1993 mustang brand new and I loved it, and just recently I purchased another 1993, a 5.0 LX Convertible and its still the most fun car I've ever had. Powerful, comfortable and still turns heads and makes guys jealous even though its 20 years old and shows its age. Mechanically its held up great, but the cosmetics have taken a beating. fortunately these cars have a large restoration and aftermarket support base. But even as is, its just a hoot to drive and nothing, but nothing beats an American drop top, V8 muscle car.
so much fun you dont want to get out of it
gas mileage
so many things about this car everything is new, a lot of upgrades.
