Positive Review

"Whew - breathtaking dynamics and aural joy."

This is a car that begs to be driven hard. The sound as the engine spools and the incredible acceleration from any starting speed are amazing. I've driven S4's and Mustangs for decades, but they simply don't compare. Be prepared to twist a bit getting in and out of the car in SoCal parking lots though.

Critical Review

"maintenance nightmare"

Always seems to have a service light on. I have spent $10,000 in 40,000 miles with nothing major. I bought a certified used car and nothing was covered at the dealership.

Pros

Everything except … see below

Cons

Noisy

I’ve owned the first edition TT and the brand new 2nd edition. I purchased the 2008 in its first year for sale - 2007. Both cars have been a dream to own and drive. I currently drive the 2008 and have driven it solely from day one. I’ve never had one problem with either car - NONE.

Cons

back seat is small

its reliable, very quick, and still get over 30mpg on the highway. handles phenomenally in the snow and all weather. I've got around 85k miles on mine and its still leak free and never had any issues with it. just done normal oil changes every 5-10k miles

Audi 2015 TTS turbo quad roadster convertible
Pros

Maneuverability, overall performance great

Cons

Convertible top issues & intake manifold issues

This car is only one of 500 like her, custom interior with leather and accented in baseball stitching interior seats steering wheel, dash and car doors. Performance handles great and plenty of power. This car go 120 mph easy. Only problem is that I've had is a convertible top is a royal pain either doesn't want to open but halfway, then i have to close it and then opens all the way. Closing has never been an issue. I've had it worked on once they recalibrated the computer it only cost 120. However now it's not working at all so it's back to the shop. Also had to have the intake manifold replaced cannot just replace sensors. Also had to replace the tail light compartment due to a meltdown of one of the circuit plugs within 28,000 MI. Otherwise performance and style is beautiful. The car still draws attention. Great handling car for road Rally's even has a lap indicator on the dash. The car has a tremendous amount diagnostic intelligence. . I might add she's dusted off a few of the competitors. Love the car fun to play in.

ALL Weather Sports Car
Pros

Easy to drive and won't bite you while having fun

Cons

Interior is not on par with competitiors (Cayman)

No issues for entire 6 year ownership. The TTRS is a very capable all weather sports car. The handling is great and the acceleration is incredible. It is a good value for what is it and its competition. The interior fit and finish is superb, although bland, and still looks new after 6 years of daily driving. I am very pleased with my TTRS and it is one of the last manual gearboxes from Audi. If you want a very rapid, unique sounding sports car that can be driven 12 months a year... look no further!

My 2008 operates as good as the day I bought it!
Pros

Superb sports coupe for the price

Cons

None

I cant believe Ive had this 3.2L TT for 11 years. Ive lost track of the number of times Ive crossed the Alps between Germany and Italy (where I live) in this vehicle, in summer heat and blizzard conditions. The AWD is fantastic in all conditions. Pick up is great as are stopping and cornering. Could not be happier with this wonderful car. Oh, and the storage space in phenomenal believe it or not.

Pros

Fun to sell

Cons

computer, sensors and motors cause you to spend

At 45000 the intake manifold needed to be replaced because the sensor and motor were bad, and not sold separate. The convertible top always got computer errors and faults leaving you stranded with the top half way. The manual operation of the top is so complex, the Audi dealer broke it 4 times. The door locks stopped working at 60,000 miles and needed a 1200 prepare. Never Audi Club for me.

Fun Sporty Classy Car Enjoy Emensely
Pros

Fun Sporty Classy Drive Enjoy emensely

Cons

CD player set up Navigiation set up cup holders

Fun Sporty car to drive. Feels like you are in a large luxury car with the fun quickness of a small sports car. Ample room to throw purse and bags in back seating area, (not made for adults or humans) with enormous head space and room in front seats. This model year 2014 doesn't have good cup holders though...
