How much should car repairs cost? We show you the Fair Repair Range
View:
When you purchased your new Alfa Romeo, it came with a lifetime worth of automotive history resting on its shoulders. Mechanical problems unfortunately may disrupt the total performance. That’s why it’s a good idea to search out an authorized repair center through your local Alfa Romeo retailer. They are your portal to factory service and repair along with any current service bulletins that may have been issued by the manufacturer.
If you are leasing your vehicle, many lease programs including those from Alfa Romeo and FCA Automobiles LLC, require the use of Mopar-approved Alfa Romeo replacement parts when repairing the vehicle.
It is possible that independent shops may be able to perform a body repair, but there is no guarantee that the shop will be using factory-authorized Alfa Romeo original equipment replacement parts when they perform the repair.
Training
Alfa Romeo service mechanics are trained and certified in the proper repair techniques used to make your Alfa Romeo investment whole again. With specialized material such as carbon fiber, which is used throughout the lineup, there is specific handling and treatment to enact a successful repair. This is training that most independent shops are not certified in.
Loan car policy
Depending on availability and circumstances, your local Alfa Romeo dealership may be able to offer loaner vehicles while your Alfa Romeo is in for its service. Consult with your service advisor for more information.
Collison repair
Alfa Romeo service can be accessed through any Alfa Romeo sales and service center. In addition to proper factory authorized repairs, FCA US LLC offers the Mopar Owner’s Companion App for iOS and Android, which puts vehicle and driver information at your fingertips to help navigate through information needed following an event that has resulted in damage to your Alfa Romeo vehicle. They include a listing of the nearest authorized Alfa Romeo body repair center, the ability to request roadside assistance, and a portal to schedule service.
For fully authorized repairs, Alfa Romeo recommends taking your vehicle to an FCA Recognized Collision Repair Facility. Through this program, some independent shops have been certified by FCA US LLC to handle the stringent requirements in making your Alfa Romeo vehicle whole again. It requires more specialized and advanced training and equipment.
